Expire a User Password

Expire a User Password

You can set a user password to expire. The next time this user logs in, the user will be required to change the password.

1. Select > USERS & ACCOUNTS > Local Users. 
   The LOCAL USERS page displays.
2. Click the Expire Password icon in the Actions section for the locked user.
   The EXPIRE PASSWORD confirmation dialog displays.

3. Click Confirm.

Restore a User Password

1. Select > USERS & ACCOUNTS > Local Users. 
   The LOCAL USERS page displays.
2. Click the Restore Password icon in the Actions section for the user with a password set to expired.
   The RESTORE PASSWORD confirmation dialog displays.

3. Click Confirm.
