Set a Custom Login Message
When you set a custom login message, the message is displayed before the user logs in:

On the Lighthouse login page.

In the CLI before the login prompts.
Note: To set a custom login message, you must have Full Access permission assigned on the Custom Login Message feature. For more information, see Operation Permissions Reference.

In the Settings Pane, select
> SYSTEM > General Settings.
The GENERAL SETTINGS page displays with the SESSION SETTINGS tab selected. -
Select the CUSTOM LOGIN MESSAGE tab.

Select Enabled to turn on the Custom Login Message.
This is set to Disabled by default.
When you set this field to Enabled, a warning is displayed to inform you that the message is displayed on the login page. -
In the Message Content field:

Enter the message content.
If Custom Login Message is Enabled, the Message Content field is required. -
Use the
Bold button to apply bold formatting as required.

Use the
Hyperlink button to insert a hyperlink.

Click the
Preview in Terminal button to preview the configured message.
The preview displays in a dialog, click Done to exit the preview.

Click Apply.
Note: If you Enable the Custom Login Message and do not enter a message, you are prompted to provide text or disable the message.
