Failover Reporting

Users with the appropriate permission can control the failover reporting settings under   > SERVICES > Node Reporting.

When failover reporting is enabled, you can see real-time status tracking of failover events across Opengear appliances, ensuring that you can quickly identify which nodes are in failover mode and how long they have been there.

Notes: For best results on failover reporting, it is recommended that Opengear nodes are on the following versions:
  • ACM and IM appliances, version 5.3.2.
  • OM and CM8xxx appliances, version 24.03 or later.

Enable Failover Reporting

  1. In the Settings Pane, select   > SERVICES > Node Reporting.
    The NODE REPORTING page displays with the CELL HEALTH REPORTING tab selected.

  2. Select the FAILOVER REPORTING tab.

  3. Select Enabled.

  4. Set the Frequency for Lighthouse to check for failover status.

  5. Click Apply.
