Edit a Script Template

Note: You can also edit a script template via API.

1. In the Menu Pane, select Node tools > Configuration Templates.
   The CONFIGURATION TEMPLATES page displays.

2. Select the SCRIPT tab.

3. Select the name of the template you want to modify.
   The EDIT SCRIPT TEMPLATE page displays.

4. Update the Description or Script Timeout if required.

5. If you want to update or manage the script content, click the Script Checksum (SHA1).
   The MANAGE SCRIPT CONTENT dialog displays.

6. Perform the following actions from this dialog as required:

   • Click Copy Content to copy the content of the script.

   • Click Download Content to download the content of the script locally.

   • Edit the Script Content directly in the dialog, then click Update.

     Note: The updated script does not persist until the template is saved.

7. Click Save Template.
   The template is saved, any script updates are persisted, the checksum is recalculated and displayed, and the last updated date displays.
