Upload a Firmware File

You can upload only one file at a time using the upload tool. If multiple files are selected and placed in the drag and drop field, only the last selected file is uploaded.

Note: Before you upload modem firmware, check your modem model on the Dashboard page, Nodes page, or Node Details page.

1. In the Menu Pane, select > Node Tools > Firmware Upgrade.
   The FIRMWARE UPGRADE page displays with the NODE FIRMWARE tab selected.
   

2. Select the FILE MANAGER tab.

3. Select whether you want to manage Node Firmware or Modem Firmware.
   

4. Complete one of the following actions to select the file:

   • Click select file to select the file.

   • Drag and drop the file into the upload area.

   The file starts uploading and progress is displayed in the panel.

   Notes: When you upload firmware for a:

   • node, you upload the individual firmware file.

   • modem, you upload a bundle of firmware files.

Click the button to cancel in-progress uploads .

If you close the website or if the HTTPS connection to Lighthouse is closed, the upload is cancelled.
